Keep Track of What You're Binge-Watching With These Tools

Remember the good old days of flipping through channels, stumbling upon a captivating TV show, and instantly getting hooked? Ah, those were the times. Sadly, that feels like a distant memory from the cyber stone age.

Keep Track of What You're Binge-Watching With These Tools

In today's endless sea of shows, it's a real challenge to keep up with them all. Trust me, I've been there too. You start watching one show, stumble upon another intriguing series, get hooked on that, and before you know it, you've completely forgotten about the others you started. The cycle continues endlessly, and suddenly you find yourself juggling a whopping ten or more unfinished shows!

The key is to stay on top of your favorite shows so you know where you left off and can easily pick them up at your convenience. Lucky for us, there are five incredible websites that make it effortlessly convenient. These sites will keep you in the loop and ensure you never miss a beat. Brace yourself for some awe-inspiring recommendations!

1. Trakt.tv: Your Tracker and Social Media Mash-up

Trakt.tv is like a magical fusion of IMDb and Facebook, giving you the best of both worlds. The first thing that caught my attention was its sleek design and user-friendly interface, making it a pleasure to navigate. But what truly sets Trakt.tv apart is its awesome spoiler feature. It's like having the power to indulge in show discussions without the fear of stumbling upon any major spoilers.

To be honest, there's so much going on with the site that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. But trust me, it's totally worth signing up for and exploring. As someone who loves TV shows and movies, Trakt.tv has easily become one of my favorite websites. Its vast range of features and the ability to connect with other like-minded entertainment enthusiasts make it a hub of pure delight.

2. TV Time: Don’t Just Watch, Engage!

This neat little platform immerses you in vibrant communities of fellow TV addicts (oops, I mean fans). It's a place where you can not only keep tabs on your favorite shows but also connect with like-minded enthusiasts, share your insights and emotions, and indulge in a treasure trove of hilarious memes and entertaining content.

TV Time: Don’t Just Watch, Engage!

Personally, TV Time has become another go-to tool in my arsenal. It offers a simpler and more streamlined experience compared to Trakt.tv. Oh, and did I mention the mobile app? It's extremely handy! With its convenient widget, I can easily keep track of the shows I'm watching right from my Android home screen. It even notifies me about newly aired episodes.

3. EpisodeCalendar: Organization Geeks, This is for You

Looking to run your TV-watching schedule with the precision of a Fortune-500 board meeting? Look no further than Episode Calendar. This site helps you manage your daily doses of televisual glee like a true CEO of fun. With its intuitive features and user-friendly interface, staying on top of your favorite shows is a breeze.

EpisodeCalendar: Organization Geeks, This is for You

I have to admit, Episode Calendar used to be my go-to tool for tracking my TV shows. However, they ended up switching to a premium model a couple years back, requiring a subscription for full access. While this change may have turned me off a bit, it's important to note that they still offer a free version where you can track a limited number of shows. So, if you're not too concerned about tracking a massive number of series, it can still be a handy option.

One thing I must highlight is the stylish website that Episode Calendar sports. It's visually appealing and adds to the overall user experience. Plus, navigating through the site is incredibly simple, making it a hassle-free tool to use.

4. Simkl: Nerds will Ascend to the TV Throne

Being a nerd is totally cool, right? Well, let me tell you about Simkl, a platform that's perfect for data geeks like us. It's basically a paradise where you can find all sorts of interesting information about the shows, movies, and anime you love to keep track of. Trust me, information is not just power, it's like the master key to the entire TV kingdom!

Now, here's the thing, I'm still getting the hang of Simkl myself. It reminds me a lot of Trakt.tv with its cool features, but I have to admit, the website can feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming at times. Although, I guess that's just a small price to pay for all the functionality it offers.

One of its coolest features is that you can automatically track all of the shows and movies you watch just by connecting your favorite streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and even Plex (plus a few others). That means no more manually updating your watchlist or worrying about keeping tabs on your binge-watching sessions. Simkl does all the work for you, making your life way easier.

5. Next Episode: Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication

Next Episode is a platform that offers a refreshingly simple and straightforward experience for all the tracking enthusiasts out there. If you're someone who prefers a no-frills approach to tracking your shows, then this is the place for you. Forget about clutter and unnecessary extras; Next Episode focuses on core tracking and keeps it sleek and intuitive.

I must admit, I'm pretty new to the site myself. I just signed up and haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet. However, I'm genuinely excited to see how it stacks up against the previous platform I mentioned. I'm hoping that Next Episode lives up to its promise of simplicity and ease of use.

No more TV show overload!

After exploring these five sites, you're now on the cusp of becoming a true master of TV show tracking! However, I must warn you, your trusty remote control might just hold a grudge against you for seeking alternative ways of indulging in your favorite shows. But hey, sacrifices must be made in the name of tracking!
