My Cat Had Gastrointestinal Lymphoma: Saying Goodbye to Adah

On June 6, 2026, I lost my cat Adah. I'm still in shock, still crying on and off, and honestly still reaching for her out of habit. She was 8 years old and had been by my side for 7 of them. Writing this is hard, but I know it's something I need to do, because if you're searching for information about feline gastrointestinal lymphoma or trying to figure out what comes next after losing your cat, I want you to know you're not alone. I've been right where you are. Adah wasn't just a cat to me; she was like a daughter. She was the one who helped me survive losing my Maltese dog back in February 2019. I got her at the end of March that same year. She was actually my first cat ever. And somehow, without me even realizing it, she became the center of my world. I had no idea that choosing her would be one of the best decisions of my life or that letting her go would be one of the hardest. ⚡ Key Takeaways 🐱 Feline GI lymphoma is the most common c...

Rebuild Your Temple God's Way: Faith and Health Devotional Review

Image
If you love God but feel like your body, mind, and spirit aren't exactly working as a team, you're not alone. That gap between faith and real-life wellness is something a lot of Christians deal with quietly, and it's rarely talked about in an honest, practical way. I've felt it myself, especially while managing several health conditions and trying to understand how caring for my physical body actually fits into my walk with God. So when I had the chance to read the Rebuild Your Temple, God's Way® Signature Faith and Health Collection , I genuinely wanted to see what it had to offer. Full disclosure: I received both the Faith and Health Devotional and the Faith and Health Devotional Bible Study Workbook for free to share with my audience. That doesn't change my honest opinion one bit. These two books are part of a five-book faith-based wellness collection created by Certified Christian Health Coach Stephanie L. Franklin-Suber, and they're a lot more substa...

Eli Shepherd's Faith Through the Storm: Bold, Timely, and Edgy

Image
I recently received a copy of Faith Through the Storm: Nothing Can Stop What's Coming by Eli Shepherd for free in exchange for an honest review.  Now, I want to be upfront with you right from the start: before I even finished going through it, the company I worked with on this reached out to give me a heads up that there's some language in this book that they weren't previously aware of. They apologized, left it totally up to me whether I wanted to continue or share it, and honestly, I appreciated the transparency. That's not something every company does, and it went a long way with me. So where do I land on it? I don't personally mind a little rough language in a book, and I'm still sharing my review because I think a lot of you can benefit from knowing what's inside. But I also think it's fair to mention it upfront so you can make your own call, especially if you're particularly careful about what you read. With that out of the way, let me tell ...

At Home Communion Cups: A WCC Products Review

Image
Taking communion at home isn't something most Christians think about until they find themselves going weeks or even months without doing it at church. Some churches offer it every Sunday. Some do it once a month. Others rarely do it at all. The Bible doesn't say communion has to happen in a building. In 1 Corinthians 11:26, Paul says we should take it " as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup ," which leaves the timing completely open. That means you don't have to wait for a church service to observe this important part of your faith. I received these WCC Products communion cups for free to showcase and review, and I wasn't expecting to love them as much as I did. My husband and I had occasionally done communion at home before, but it always felt a little thrown together. Using cups that were specifically designed for this, with everything already inside and sealed, made it feel more intentional and sacred. If you've been curious about taking ...
